As You Like It by William Shakespeare
‘All the world’s a stage…’
Rosalind is daughter to the rightful duke, exiled by his usurping brother. The impulsive Rosalind falls in love with Orlando - a youngest son down on his luck. But her uncle, jealous of her popularity, banishes her. Disguised as a boy, Rosalind flees the tyrant’s court to seek her freedom in the idyllic Forest of Arden. But Orlando too is in the forest, and in her guise as a young rake, Rosalind embarks on a beguiling game of love, lust and mistaken identity.
A joyous celebration of the liberating power of love and the healing power of nature, Shakespeare's sparkling comedy has everything from cross-dressing, gorgeous poetry and brilliant conversation, to passion, slapstick and pure, unadulterated fun.
