TWC's Summer 2013 production is:
As You Like It
by William Shakespeare
In the open air at Coulsdon Manor Hotel
‘All the world’s a stage…’
Rosalind’s father, the rightful duke, has been exiled by his usurping brother. The vulnerable and impulsive Rosalind falls in love with Orlando - a youngest son down on his luck. But her uncle, jealous of her popularity, banishes her. Disguised as a boy, Rosalind flees the tyrant’s court, seeking her freedom in the idyllic Forest of Arden. But Orlando too is in the forest, and in her guise as a young rake, Rosalind embarks on a beguiling game of love, lust, and tangled identities. A joyous celebration of the liberating power of love and the healing force of nature, Shakespeare's sparkling comedy has everything from cross-dressing, gorgeous poetry and brilliant conversation, to passion, slapstick and pure, unadulterated fun.
For eight performances only at
