Penny Payne

Penny arrived at TWC in 2000 on a free transfer from Purley Panto-loons (no, really - that's what they're called), walking straight into a leading role in The Three Musketeers, le Panteau - as a bloke. (The goatee really suited her). Since then, Penny has established herself as an invaluable contributor to TWC, having totally cornered the market in parts for batty old women, witches, crones, nagging wives, and all round basket cases. Penny's unfulfilled ambition is to play a beautiful princess - but sadly for her, she's far too convincing at the deranged parts! Penny has occasionally stretched herself to more challenging roles... such as Felicity Rabbit (The Wind in the Willows) and Miss Stephanie Sneezy-Knickers (The Mummy
