Theatre Workshop Coulsdon - Member Biography
Sarah Palmer
I joined TWC in 2002 after my mum (Vanessa Buck) had been desperately trying to get me to join for months. I finally gave in and turned up for the read-through for Tom Jones. Since then I have loved being part of the group, joining in productions whenever I have been able to, in between being away as a resident entertainer in Cornwall, being away studying performing arts at Uni, and currently being away flying all the time!
I had planned to make performing and directing my career but sadly that was not meant to be and somehow I ended up being an air hostess for GB/British Airways, which I love almost as much. However, I am more than happy to carry on with my love of performing by being part of any productions I can with TWC. I really enjoy performing Shakespeare, so my favourite role with TWC so far has got to be 'Bianca' in Taming of the Shrew - even though my most embarrassing moment with the group so far happened during a performance. Still, it was very funny and I'll probably have many more!
